The spaceIndulge in the charm of our two-bedroom house, each bedroom boasting an ensuite bathroom. Additionally, we offer an attached studio space with its own kitchen, bathroom, private patio, and street entrance—available for separate rental or as an add-on to Casa Aurora for an extra nightly fee.
Main house guests enjoy access to two air-conditioned bedrooms, the inviting pool, a rooftop palapa lounge, washer and dryer facilities, and a private street entrance. The kitchen features a five-burner stainless steel range and a large double-door fridge. The master bedroom hosts a King-size bed with a memory foam topper, while the second bedroom offers a Queen-size bed.
Immerse yourself in the unique ambiance of our Casa, adorned with art and special furniture pieces collected from our travels across Mexico. The studio, equipped with AC, provides a private patio and a separate entrance to the street, ensuring a delightful and exclusive retreat.
Guest accessThe main house is totally separate from the studio but they can be joined together if needed.
The studio guests have a private patio and private entrance to the street and do not share any space with the guests in the house.
Additional notesDISCLAIMERS - We think it is important to communicate upfront the realities of coming to stay in a tropical part of Mexico. The below listed items could happen during your stay, although are usually very rare. Some are specific to Casa Aurora while others are more general for this part of Mexico.
- Please note from Feb - August 2024 there will be construction going on at the property next store. Noise could be heard from 8AM to 430PM.
- To get to Casa Aurora from town you must walk up a hill which is at a 40 degree incline and is 60m long.
- The address listed on airbnb will not bring you to the correct location in maps. Please use the links provided in direct messages and direction details of the booking.
- The power could go out during your stay, when the power goes out we also loose water pressure.
- We could run out of water, if this happens we order more water as soon as possible to fill our tenacos.
- The internet could go out due to local issues with the Internet Service Provider. If internet is crucial for you we suggest bringing a hotpsot. (full internet outages are rare)
- We are not a hotel.
- The pool is not heated.
- The pool is not shared with other guests.
- There may be mosquitos at night.
- You may encounter scorpions. (usually by leaving clothes or pillows on the floor for long periods)
- You may encounter ants inside the house. (You could wake up one morning and find a trail of ants going through the kitchen for example)
- You may encounter lizards and geckoes inside or outside the house.
- You could be awoken in the morning by the sound of a rooster call or dogs barking.
- You could hear construction noises as Sayulita has many new buildings going up.
- You will likely encounter stray dogs and cats.
- Mexico can be a very dusty place, dust can build up quickly.
- It's possible that a neighboring house has a party at night and could keep you awake.

Guest interactionWe live in the house on a daily basis. When it is rented out we stay in the studio or off site. Someone will check in on guests occasionally, either us or Tony, our property manager. Tony's phone number will be available in case immediate attention is required.

Just an eight-minute stroll to the heart of town and a quick six-minute walk to Muertos beach, our location offers easy access to the vibrant energy of Sayulita.

Embrace the laid-back atmosphere of our jungle view haven. Sayulita is a uniquely cheerful and friendly coastal town, inviting you to explore its funky and joyful ambiance.
Getting aroundIn our town you can walk anywhere at any time of day. There are golf cart rental shops and these carts can be fun when exploring around town. There are always taxis available at the plaza if you want to check out other little towns nearby.
